Life is a bowl of mashed potato:
Sometimes lumpy; sometimes smooth and creamy;
and sometimes it has interesting bits in it!

Saturday Snuggles
Snuggles followed by breakfast in bed served by the wonderful Mr Doris. What more could a girl want on a snowy Saturday morning in December. With an empty diary and now doing my homework assignments it all feels good. Progress without pressure is what I think it is.
Ah ha...spotted you! Thank goodness for blogroll thingies ;-) Lovely to see you blogging again honey...and feeling so good about life/course/ snow and snug Saturday mornings!x
Thanks all :-) But as I have just written, my snugness caught up with me and bit me on the backside. But I wasn't really trying to be smug at all - just grateful. But at times like that you just can't help wondering negative things like I brought it on myself in some way etc.
Hey Diane - I am so sorry you can not have some of our snow as it really is fun. Never mind those that whinge about it. Lovely that you also enjoy the company of your special person.
Thanks Jo honey :-)
And Anji - I hope your weekend is rolling along very nicely indeed.
I'm in my mid fifties and love Mr Doris, food, love, people and quirky things. We live in the North West of England. We have two grown up children.
The ghosts of my childhood pop in on occasion. I am still growing and developing, experimenting with this and that, reflecting on this or that.

Isn't growing old with your sweetie wonderful? Our day was sitting around the house & enjoying each other's company. I wish we had snow!
